(DE) Auf den Tag genau vor 13 Jahren, am 09. März 1997, wurde The Notorious B.I.G. bei einem Drive-By-Shooting in Los Angeles erschossen. Der genaue Hintergrund zu diesem Vorfall konnte nie geklärt werden. Drei Wochen nach seinem Tod wurde sein Doppel-Album “Life After Death” veröffentlicht. Dieses Album stieg auf Platz 1 der Charts und wurde zu einem der meist verkauften Alben im HipHop-Bereich.

(EN) At the 9th of march 1997, exactly 13 years ago, The Notorious B.I.G. died in Los Angeles in case of a drive-by-shooting. The background to this crime couldn’t be cleared till now. Three weeks after his death the double-album “Life After Death” was published. This album climbs up to place 1 at the charts and became one of the most-selling hiphop albums.
