Der 25-jährige Mario veröffentlicht im Februar sein nun fünftes Album, sieben Tage vor dem Valentinstag. Viel ist noch nicht bekannt aber es wird auf RCA Records (u.a. Zusammenschluss von Arista, Jive und J Records; Tochter v. Sony) erscheinen. Er soll nach eigenen Angaben versucht haben wieder mehr Club-Songs unterzubringen. Die offizielle Single “The Walls” (ft. Fabolous) ist seit Ende letzten Jahres bei uns erhältlich.

Auf seinem YouTube Kanal gibt Mario einige Einblicke in die Studio-Arbeit und auch Hörproben zu seinem kommenden Mixtape “Truth Be Told”.

“Let Me Love You” aus dem Jahr 2005 hielt sich bei uns 15 Wochen auf Platz 1 der Charts. Auch das dazugehörige Album “Turning Point” war sein bisher größter Chart-Erfolg hier in Deutschland.

Tyga, der auf Young Money (Cash Money, Universal Republic) gesignt ist, dropt dieses Jahr sein zweites Studio-Album „Careless World: Rise Of The Last King“. Nach 4 Mixtapes allein im letzten Jahr wartet er nun mit einem 14 Track starken Longplayer auf. Da dürfen die Label-Kollegen Lil Wayne und Drake natürlich nicht fehlen. Aber auch Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Wiz Khalifa, Pharrell, The Game oder Wale sind zu hören. Die erste Single „Far Away“ (ft. Chris Richardson) erschien Mitte letzten Jahres und hatte sich in den Top 100 der Billboard-Charts platziert. Die aktuelle Single heißt „Faded“ und featured Lil Wayne.

Der 22-jährige Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson stammt aus einer vietnamnesisch-jamaikanischen Familie und wuchs in Compton, Kalifornien auf. „Tyga“ steht für „Thank You God Always“. Sein Cousin Travie McCoy, bekannt aus dem Track „Billionaire“ (ft. Bruno Mars), half ihm beim Einstieg ins Musikgeschäft. Was auch auf Tyga´s allererster Single „Coconut Juice“ zu hören ist. Sein bisher größter Chart-Erfolg war die Single „Deuces“, zusammen mit Chris Brown und Kevin McCall. Diese stammt aus Ihrem gemeinsamen Mixtape „Fan Of A Fan“ aus dem Jahr 2010.

Ywada was born the daughter of a songstress and a sound engineer. Ywada grew up surrounded by music. A vocalist extraordinaire, so much so she caught the eye of BET’s own, Dr. Bobby Jones at the tender age of 15. Ywada was granted the opportunity to perform on stage with multi-Grammy award winning artist Yolanda Adams, which would be captivated by her talent. With encouraging words from Yolanda Adams, Ywada vigorously continues working towards her dream.

In 2007, Ywada opened up for the hit R&B Group 112. Shortly after doing so, local press started to acknowledge her talented soulful voice. They took notice of her ability to become the character in her songs and her ability to touch the audience with the story she would tell through her music. Ywada went on to become the winner of Sarasota Florida “Singer of the Year” in 2007. With her music career on a steadfast paste, she has appeared on nationally known radio shows as well as featured on Southwest Florida’s ABC 7 News. Ywada has also become known nationally after appearing on 106 & Park “Wild Out Wednesday” in 2008.

Her new album would be put to use to encourage women to follow their dreams. Ywada is asked so frequently, “What inspires her to have a love for what she does”? Outside her influential inspirations such as Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Bilge, Faith Evans, Gladys Knight, Kim Burrell, Karen Clark Shear, Cee Cee Winans, and countless others. Ywada response is always the same “I believe that God chose me to do this “music” and has put an anointing on my voice”.Ywada acknowledges that the “anointing” sets her apart from other artist in the industry. She so graciously states “I feel that there’s a great soul that lives within me”, this is why I will keep going no matter what obstacles get in my way, “I have to do this, it’s my calling”.

Ywada isn’t stopping there, she plans to have her voice and music around for a long time. She knows she’s more than just a “fly by night artist”. Ywada says, in the next five years: “I want to be on stage in front of millions of people still telling my story”.
